1. Shipment Booking and Coordination:
- Arrange bookings for air, sea, or land freight shipments with carriers and agents.

- Work closely with Customer Service (CS) to address client inquiries, resolve complaints, and
provide shipment-related solutions.
2. Documentation Management:
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, invoices, and packing
lists.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export/import laws, and international trade protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and related documentation.
3. Revenue and Cost Management:
- Track revenue generated from shipments and ensure timely invoicing to customers.
- Monitor and record costs, including freight charges, customs duties, and warehousing fees.
- Prepare reports on revenue vs. costs to assess profitability and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with the finance team to reconcile accounts and manage payment collections.
4. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other logistics partners.
- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers, agents, and service providers to optimize costs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to retain existing clients and attract new business.
5. Operational Efficiency:
- Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and avoid delays.
- Identify and address potential issues, such as cargo damage, delays, or route disruptions.
- Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer
satisfaction.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate periodic reports on shipment performance, costs, and revenue.
- Analyze trends in freight forwarding operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Use logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or TMS systems) to track shipments and maintain
records.
7. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all activities comply with international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company
policies.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in laws, tariffs, and trade agreements that may affect freight
forwarding operations.
