Logistics Specialist (1-Year Contract)

JOB PURPOSE

This role will be critical in driving strategic initiatives, influencing cross-functional teams, and have significant influence between manufacturing and sales, ensuring achievement to our Annual Revenue plan.

MAIN DUTIES

1. Develop and implement best-in-class SIOP practices.

2. Matrix responsibilities for Production Planning’s manufacturing resource-planning activities.

3. These activities need to help achieve division sales and revenue target objectives and maintain 100% on-time customer deliveries.

4. Matrix responsibilities for personnel involved with the MRP database to achieve and maintain a high degree of data accuracy, integrity, and ownership.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure cohesive execution of SIOP strategies and objectives.

2. Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for SIOP processes, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.

3. Inventory Management: Ensure effective inventory control strategies are in place to support customer demands while minimizing excess stock and associated costs.

4. To align on inventory levels, lead times, and delivery schedules to optimize the supply chain.

5. Lean Initiatives: Actively support and implement lean principles and methodologies to drive efficiency and reduce waste within the SIOP processes.

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations.

2. Experience: 2-3 years in this job, Demand planning, Supply Chain, or Operation.

3. Language: English fluency
