Industrial Engineering Specialist – Attachments & Production Improvement

• 1. Role Purpose: TPG is looking for a hands-on specialist to:
• Design and implement attachments (folders, guides, jigs, fixtures)
• Improve sewing efficiency, consistency, and quality
• Support line setup, SMV optimization, and production flow

This is a practical, factory-driven role – focused on real productivity improvement, not theory.

• 2. Key Responsibilities
• Attachment Development & Application
• Design and develop:
• Sewing folders (hemming, waistband, pocket…)
• Guides and jigs for consistency
• Special attachments for complex operations
• Work closely with: Sewing operators, Technicians, IE team
• Ensure: Easy to use, Stable output, Scalable across lines
• Productivity & SMV Improvement
• Analyze operations and identify: Bottlenecks, Manual handling of waste
• Apply attachments to: Reduce operation time (SMV), Improve line balancing
• Support: Target efficiency improvement, Semi-automation initiatives
• Line Setup & Technical Support
• Support: New style setup, Operation breakdown
• Ensure: Correct attachment selection per operation, Smooth workflow at line start
• Troubleshoot: Sewing issues related to attachment usage
• Standardization & System Building
• Build: Attachment library (by operation/style), Standard usage guidelines
• Document: Best practices, Setup parameters
• Train: Operators and line leaders
• Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)
• Continuously improve: Existing attachments, Sewing methods
• Propose: New ideas to reduce dependency on operator skill
• Support: Lean manufacturing / IE initiatives

• Technical
• Strong experience in: Sewing attachments (folders, jigs, guides…), Garment production (woven/denim preferred)
• Hands-on capability: Understand machine setup, Work directly on the production floor
• Experience in: SMV improvement, Line balancing
• Mindset
• Practical, solution-oriented
• Strong ownership
• Focus on: Efficiency, Stability, Standardization
• Communication
• Able to work closely with: Operators, Supervisors, IE / Production teams
• Basic English is a plus (not mandatory if strong technically)
