Industrial Designer

• Research existing wearable medical devices and relevant products on the market to understand form factors, materials, usability, and design trends.

• Take ownership of ideation and concept development for device appearance and usage scenarios.

• Create design concepts, sketches, and 3D models from concept to refinement.

• Prepare and present design proposals, including concept boards, usage scenarios and presentations.

• Create basic renders, simple videos, or visual materials to illustrate device style and usage.

• Work closely with Mechanical and Electronics Engineers to refine product details and ensure feasibility.

• Apply industrial design thinking within engineering, manufacturing, and medical constraints.

• Design supporting elements such as labels, label placement, basic packaging concepts, and EVA trays.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related fields.

• 1–4 years of experience in industrial design/product design.

• Experience designing plastic products, with good understanding of materials; experience with IoT or technology-driven products is a big plus.

• Proficient in 3D modeling software such as Rhino, SolidWorks or equivalent.

• Solid understanding of ergonomics, usability, form, and human-centered design, especially for wearable products.

• Ability to generate design ideas quickly and execute efficiently from research → sketch → 3D → render → support prototyping.

• Strong passion for designing technology products, especially in the medical and healthcare domain is a big plus.
