1. Manage and operate the accounting system.
- Organize, supervise, and manage all activities of Accounting Department.
- Establish, standardize, and continuously improve accounting procedures and internal control systems.
- Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and Group policies
- Oversee the recording and reconciliation of revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), operating expenses, fixed assets, receivables, payables, and inventory.
2. Monitor and control financial reporting
- Take responsibility for preparing, reviewing, and monitoring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely manner
- Analyze financial data, cost fluctuations, and business performance.
- Ensure the accuracy, transparency, and consistency of all financial reports.
- Coordinate with Group in preparing management reports.
3. Manage taxation and legal compliance.
- Oversee the declaration and finalization of all applicable taxes, including Value Added Tax (VAT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and other relevant taxes.
- Monitor and update changes in accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Work directly with tax authorities, external auditors, and other relevant government agencies.
- Assess and manage tax and financial risks to ensure compliance and minimize exposure.
4. Manage cash flow and receivables/payables.
- Monitor and control the Company's cash flow position
- Manage supplier payment plans and customer debt collection activities.
- Control customer credit limits and outstanding receivables.
- Recommend solutions to optimize cash flow and mitigate financial risks.
5. Control inventory and distribution operations
- Monitor and reconcile inventory records between the accounting system and physical warehouse stock.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, and Logistics departments in inventory counting and stock verification activities
- Monitor cost of goods sold, promotional items, near-expiry products, product write-offs, and trade marketing programs.
- Control discount, rebate, and incentive programs provided to customers and distributors.
6. Work with auditors and the Group.
- Prepare documentation and supporting schedules for internal and external audits.
- Provide explanations and analyses of financial data as required by the Group or Board of Management.
- Ensure compliance with the parent company's financial procedures and internal control standards.
7. Manage the Accounting Department
- Assign tasks, supervise work performance, and evaluate employees within the Accounting Department.
- Provide coaching, professional guidance, and development opportunities for accounting staff.
- Develop workforce plans to ensure adequate accounting resources in line with business needs.
8. Support BOM in financial governance
- Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Analyze business performance by product category, sales channel, and geographical area.
- Recommend cost-control initiatives and financial performance improvement measures.
- Provide financial data, analysis, and reports to support strategic decision-making by the Board of Management.
9. Perform other tasks assigned by the Board of Management.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
- At least 7 years as a Chief Accountant or in an equivalent managerial position.
- Have a certificate from the Chief Accountant
- Experience in FMCG, importation, distribution, or retail businesses
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle/Dynamics…).
- Good in English ( From Upper Intermediate Level)
